Great sock, check the size Sep 13, 2009
By Professor Velo These are great socks. They are very comfortable and Wright has done a very good job making the toe seam disappear. This is especially true of the ends where you often get fabric doubling. I use these for running, cycling, and even for daily wear. they are very breathable and in South Florida®, breathable is good. While daily wear is possible with these, they really shine as an athletic sock. They are comfortable as running socks with no bunching or slipping and they work well in low-volume shoes like my cycling shoes. Some points to consider:
* These are double-walled, but thin - they are meant to be, so if you need a padded sock, I would look at the heavier versions from Wright.
* The sizing is probably appropriate, but I figured a "medium" would fit my 9.5 foot (men's). it does, but I have to stretch it on pretty firmly. I wanted to avoid the extra material from going with a large, but that is what I'll do next time
* These have a very long life. I have had a few pair for several years and they are still in great shape. my feet are fairly smooth though.
if you have rough feet, I wouldn't expect any sock to hold up.
Everyone has different preferences in socks; fit, feel, padding, etc. If you are looking for a durable, thin, comfortable sock - particularly for low-volume shoes, you can't go wrong with these

WrightSock Double Layer Cool Mesh Socks Oct 20, 2009
By Nancy Clark These socks are great. I had been having problems with blisters on my feet from walking. I had a pair of double layer walking socks years ago and hadn't been able to find them since then. I have not had blisters since using these socks and I walk 5 miles every day. It is nice to be able to walk daily again without having to take breaks to let blisters heal. As an added bonus these socks feel like silk on your feet.

ZERO blisters Oct 05, 2009
By S. Hawley I'm a marathon runner, live in a warm climate (Florida), and have been wearing WrightSock double-layer socks for several years. These socks are easily the best I've ever used and I switched exclusively to them awhile back. I'm less concerned about padding (these are not thick) than about avoiding overheating and blisters during very long runs, and I've never had a single blister since I switched to the double-layer WrightSocks. I used to have blisters somewhat frequently, but no more!
The socks fit snugly on your feet, and are supposed to. They don't slip during your runs (and I also wearing them when road bicycling) and even in the middle of summer they are the driest part of my gear after a run. Can you tell I'm hooked on them? :-) Running is tough enough without blisters to make it worse, and you can forget the blisters with these socks.

These run SMALL Jul 31, 2011
By K. Higgins
"seabeewife"
I wanted to love these socks, but honestly they were just too small. I was on the cusp between Sm and Med and sized down thinking how much I despise sock bunching at the end of my small feet (size 6.5), but these were just too small. I gave them to a friend who wears a size 5 and she LOVES them but said they barely fit her either...

Best running sock Jun 23, 2011
By J. Benjamin This is THE sock for running! Best way to avoid blisters and very low-moisture. I just wish I'd stop losing my socks in the laundry.
