5Fan-freaking-tastic product!  Dec 20, 2009
I forget where I first heard about this product, but after I read reviews of it here and elsewhere, I decided to try it for repairing tears in our gazebo's canvas roof. This product has far exceeded my expectations. I have used it both to repair tears and to reinforce the seams where the hooks are sewn onto the canopy. It's held up through sun, heat and rain as well as cold. My husband and I are still surprised!

It is barely visible on the taupe canvas. Additionally, I used it to repair a badly worn and split leather seat in our van. The leather was worn paper thin in spots and we had to take drastic measure to make sure it didn't come apart. Again, this product is barely visible and it has held true in the heat of a closed vehicle when outside it was in the upper 90's. It's also held up in the cold.

This is a GREAT product. One caveat: You can buy it in larger dimensions and longer rolls on the manufacturer's website for MUCH less than you'll find it in this retail packaging. When I order more -- and I will, along with the formula for vinyl -- it'll be directly through the manufacturer.

5Looked for. Found. Bought. Received. Applied. Happy.  Oct 08, 2009
A tear in a motorcycle cover threatened to bring it apart. Searched on line for a way to fix it. I found this. Ordered it. After applying I haven't thought of it since. Meaning that it is doing its job perfectly.
When applying keep in mind that it is VERY sticky.
So far so good. Works great.

4Works on convertable tops too!  Sep 16, 2009
Did some research on the 'net and could not find a pure "convertable top patch kit" to save my life! Somewhere I saw someone mention this product so I found it here and bought it, so my review stems from that perspective.

My use was on a 2003 Miata convertible top, (for those of you that don't know the '03 model was when the canvas top became available for the Miata. Previously it was only available with a vinyl top) that had a small hole in it (about the size of a pencil tip) enough to drip water on my ear when it rained hard.

Applied product to both sides of the hole and after a month and a half adhesion has been good and I have not seen any discoloration. Applied a larger piece to the underside and a 1" square on top. It's noticeable within 5' but further it is not.

Installation was fairly simple rub area with included alcohol swab then slap on. Good cheap repair for (at the very least) small flaws on convertible tops.

5Works great!  Sep 06, 2009
We have pop up tent which tore due to high winds. I put the patch on as outlined in the instructions......four months later still holding just fine. Great product.

5Best and only repair patch that worked for me  Aug 19, 2009
These patches when applied as directed work great! They are stick and wont come off so do apply with great care. They are waterproof and flexible. Saved my kids toy bouncer water slide..
