4nice strap!  Feb 09, 2011 By Steven R. Mitchell "camoman"
I bought this strap for the adapter that came with it and was going to get another strap. Well I put the adapter on my watch and thought I'll use the strap that came with it till I get my new zulu strap well it didnt work out that way I fell in love with the comfort and looks. very nice looking on my watch I'll keep it till it starts to get old.I gave it a four because the end strap sticks out from under the watch once in a while but thats not to much of a problem.

4A bit bulky but very comfortable  Jul 21, 2010 By Arthur Zatarain "Artzat"
I ordered this velcro strap to replace the original rubber version. I was a bit disappointed with the overall size and bulk of the velcro model but soon learned to appreciate its comfort---it's very soft, and doesn't induce a sweaty wrist as with the rubber version. It's a bit cumbersome to get on and off, but that's a minor issue for me. Note that two tiny screwdrivers are needed for installation.

5looks better! feels better!  Apr 08, 2010 By Beau Granados
I was uncertain about the new neoprene strap when removing it from the packaging... but the moment I put in on, it was love! Very, very comfortable! And oh my, what a great look! My new Suunto went from very cool to down-right sexy! ;)

2Not built to last  Oct 29, 2011 By Francis Tapon
C'mon Suunto! What's your target market do you with you watches? They go on rough adventures, so they need a strap that is tough. Mine started weakening within a year, in 2 years it was pathetic, and in 3 years it completely feel apart.

I'm going to buy the plastic band now. I don't recommend this velcro one.

1If you sweat, dont get!  Aug 26, 2011 By Army O3Guy
I purchased this replacement strap for my Suunto Vector watch after reading RAVE reviews. Worst decision EVER. If you work in an environment that causes you to perspire DO NOT GET THIS STRAP. It stinks (like pungent). I ended up re-ordering the orignal plastic replacement strap because I couldn't deal with a smelly wrist. I was paranoid all the time. I would continually ask people sitting next to me if they could "smell" the strap. They all said "no" but it still ended up in the garbage. Save yourself the trouble, because it doesn't "fit" to the wrist any better than the plastic one (as some people state). In fact, it actually was more noticeable than the plastic strap because I felt as if it was too tight, or too loose all the time. I dunno if I'm crazy, but it actually ruined a watch thats been to more countries (including Iraq) and Airborne jumps than most people reading this. I have the regular Suunto Strap and am now, once again, happy with my 6 year watch!
