Gets the stink out! Jun 23, 2009
By Mommoe I've always used dye-free, scent-free laundry detergent, but on some fabrics, it just didn't get the stink out. My husband's work-out clothes tend to get "funky" after awhile, even when they are clean, right out of the dryer. I am referring to the synthetic, high-tech materials, especially anything that is "wicking". This product really does the trick. Now I use it on any fleece clothing as well. Sometimes the boys' PJs start to smell like unwashed children and one quick wash with an unbelievably small amount of this totally rids them of all smells, without any cover-up scents!

Better than Tech Wash! Jul 04, 2009
By skirat I bought the 64 oz bottle for $16.00 which is much cheaper than the Nikwax product, which costs around $8.00 or $9.00 for 10 oz and requires more per wash.
The test subject was a black and white Arcteryx 3-layer gore tex shell that I used for skiing last season. Unfortunately, one of the old lifts at my home ski resort spews oil as the temperature warms from the lift towers. Not good for any shell much less a white one!
To pre-treat the dried oil stains I rubbed on the sport wash with a damp cloth at full strength and was amazed to see the stains readily lift out, wow. Into the front load washing machine with an oz of Sport Wash and 40 minutes later out came a jacket that looked nearly as good as new (I had missed pre-treating a couple of small oil stains and I could detect some smudging, but overall I was amazed with the performance of this product when compared to using dawn and Tech Wash the season before.
I think Atsko's Sport Wash is the way to go for waterproof-breathable clothing. Next I'll try it on my wool clothing.

got cloth diapers? gotta get this stuff... Jun 08, 2006
By casual.remark This is hands-down the best detergent I've found for washing my son's cloth diapers. It was not easy finding something that was fragrance-free, perfume-free, dye-free, uv-brighteners-free, and fabric softener-free. It was also not easy finding something that wouldn't leave residue behind but that also would not leave stink behind! This cleans well (and using a front-loading washer it only takes about a 1/4 of the capful for a load) AND keeps my son's dipes breathing like they should, wicking where they should, and repelling where they should -- awesome!
The added bonus is that using it saved a white cotton blouse I wore to a job interview last summer (in Texas, mind you) where the a/c was broken. Needless to say, nothing got out that sweat stain or stink until I used Sport Wash on it and dried it out in the sun. I can wear it again!
EDITED TO ADD: After about six months or so of using this on my son's dipes, I finally found another product locally. I started using it instead of Sport Wash & my son hasn't had any of the irritation I always presumed was due to one thing or another (i.e. too little detergent, too few rinses, cheap apt laundromat machines, wrong diaper fabric, etc.) Turns out, Planet Laundry Detergent is much better for my boy -- who knew?! Sport Wash is still awesome on my and my husband's clothes, however!

Not bad, but can be better Jun 03, 2011

I purchased this detergent to use for my running/workout clothes. Synthetic materials or workout clothes tend to get funky after a while and regular detergent is just not enough to get rid of the embedded stink. I like that this detergent is made of natural products and not harmful chemicals, I think that's the best selling point. Although it gets rid of most of the funk on my workout clothing, a slight odor is still left on some. I think part of it is because some clothes are older than the others and I had just started using this product. So, as a suggestion, to protect your workout investments (sports clothing are quite expensive we all know that), really consider using sports detergent like this one rather than just a regular detergent. I will try to soak my older clothes with this and hand wash it with a scrubber and see what happens. Other than that, I think it's a good product and very economical since it has 34 washes in one liter.

Does what it promised Jun 09, 2011

As others have noted, it's just detergent but it seems to get rid of the stink which is what it promised and what I was looking for. Just a note that the bottle it comes in is bigger and heavier than I expected. This product is made primarily for hunters believe it or not, who I guess have problems with not only scent but UV enhancers in regular detergent. So if you are virulently anti-hunting, the packaging and accompanying sales materials will be very distressing to you. As with all detergents these days, it's super concentrated and they're not kidding - if you put too much in your washer, you'll have to run 2 or 3 rinse cycles.
