Great for a beginner! Jul 16, 2008
By EC My son absolutely loved this baseball glove. First, it came with a soft but firm ball that he could be a little rough with and not break while at the same time, if he got hit he didn't get hurt. Second, the glove itself was softer than a traditional glove which makes it perfect for learning how to close his hands over the ball when he catches it. It was not too heavy for him, or too big. In general a perfect beginners glove for ages 5 to 8.

By Nyla Bought this for my son that is nearly 3 and it is wayyyyy too big for his hand. He is not abnormally small for his age, either. I think its a well made item and he likes playing with the ball for now. Maybe by next Christmas it will fit him better.
