Use in hotels Oct 16, 2010
By Cranky Scott There have been many articles written about housekeeping staff not cleaning glasses between guests. I am sure most do, but I travel in third world countries and I am sure not washing a class is not a big issue for some.
Instead of using the hotel glasses - I use the Summit X Mug.
These mugs / glasses take up no room and have practically any weight. They collapse down to nothing and will easily fit in any bag.
Each mug holds 2 cups of water.
A perfect design and excellent manufacturing.

This is a great little travel mug that takes up very little space and it is very light weight.

two thumbs up! Jul 15, 2011
By J. Rutherford Fits perfectly inside my cookware. I love the measuring cup feature as well. It's thick enough where you can drink your morning coffee without burning your hands, pretty sturdy too. VERY pleased with this purchase

Great cup for travel . . . Nov 29, 2010

As a consultant I find myself in many different offices.
And with all the companies "going green" (read as too cheap to buy cups) my choice is to either use one of the house washable cups or bring my own.
This fits the bill.
I did ding it a star because it seems if you leave water sitting a few hours, it will pick up a faint sweet taste of silicon rubber or whatever the thing is made of.
It may be that I didn't wash it good enough the first time - I gave it a good washing and have not since noticed it, so maybe that as the issue.
Note that I do have a very sensitive sense of taste and smell - in my experience, 9 out of 10 of you reading this wouldn't notice the taste anyway.
Bottom line - good travel mug for the road warrior traveling behind enemy lines and not wanting to use the house mugs.

Does the job ... Sep 20, 2011
By Glide Floss Versatile mug that works well with hot or cold beverages. It has a nice wide mouth that make it easy to have the pooch drink from it too. Taken the mugs on backpacking and camping trips. Also taken them on overseas trips - throw into hand carry, use on the plane, use in the hotel room, etc. Easy to clean. No plastic-y smell or taste ... yet.
Not sure about the base serving as a cutting board though!
