Great Balaclava - not for extra small Jan 21, 2012
By Gwenny This is a great balaclava. I have a pretty small head though and so the portion for the eyes actually opens around my eyes, nose, and mouth. Yea, I know, I should order children's sizes. :P Great fabric and feel, but not made for petite women. I passed it on to a friend and he LOVES it.

binds above the mouth Dec 11, 2010
By Elena I just got this in a hurry for frigid temperatures next week. I have a medium-sized head with very short hair. This fits very snugly, which is fine, but it binds uncomfortably where the opening crosses my face below the nose. The edging is very stiff so it's tough to pull it down below my mouth, so i hope it doesn't freeze on my breath to my face. I am hoping it's not too uncomfortable to wear since I work outside and I really need something to cover my face in the sub-freezing temperatures coming up. I think it's a fair, but not great product. I've never worn one before so perhaps this is how they are meant to fit, but not really as versatile or as comfortable as i'd hoped.
