5warn & dry  Dec 23, 2009 By Timothy D. Moran "timmkell"
well worth your money. I use they when I am out plowing and shoveling walks for my customers. They keep my feet nice and warm. Nothing worst than cold wet feet and trying to get work done.

5Don't Leave Your Igloo without Them  Jan 18, 2012 By Henry Greenspan "Henry Greenspan, Ph.D."
Neos are terrific--just buying my second pair (as spares). I have flat, wide feet and a finicky back, so finding the right boots is not easy. Because these go over my regular shoes, no problem. And they are as warm and waterproof as the best leather boots I've tried. They also provide good to excellent traction, and work well with trekking poles for added stability on ice/snow mix. The wide sole helps there too. Trekked all over Michigan and Canada with them. During the winter, I would not leave home without them.

5Great for snowy Michigan.  Aug 17, 2011 By M. Sigh
Great product. I have to wear orthotic-accommendating shoes, so finding boots that work (and that I can afford) is near impossible. These allow me to turn whatever shoes I'm wearing into the support system of a waterproof pair of boots. Slide them on and fasten on your way out the door, slide them off and get moving as soon as you get to work (or wherever you are going).

3Steer clear if you are size 13  Nov 15, 2011 By Polyphase
The "XL" shoe absolutely does not fit my men's size 13 sneakers, which is a real shame, because otherwise this looks like a very excellent, well made, and warm overshoe. My guess is that a 12 1/2 sneaker will likely fit in the shoe, but a 13 is really pushing the XL shoe. I may try this with my other work shoes - if those fit I will be updating this review.

If your shoes are a men's size 13, I would definitely steer clear of this.

Maybe Neos could eventually make a larger "XXL" shoe for people who have Hobbit-sized (13-14) feet? (Feet this large are definitely a statistical outlier in the Gaussian distribution of shoe sizes - Neos might end up having to spend thousands of dollars to make overshoes only a small fraction of the global population could wear.)

5Don''t know what I would do without these.  Aug 03, 2011 By Ohiowoman
This is my fourth pair of this exact boot in about the last 20 years. As the bottoms wear down on one pair, I'm looking to see who can sell me the next. The tops and clasps have never shown any wear at all. It is so great to be able to wear one's own walking or office shoes inside boots. I don't have to carry my shoes with me, and I don't have to compromise my comfort. Because they fit over my shoes, the boots do give an impression that your feet are chunky, but it's a look I am perfectly willing to live with, especially since the extra width makes me more stable on slippery sidewalks. They are also good for slushy snow because they are watertight and clean right up if you walk through a puddle. When you get yours, you might worry that your feet will be cold, because the material is relatively thin. I worried too, so bought the NEOS padded boots for very cold weather. I don't know why, but the Voyager is perfectly fine for walking in temperatures all the way down to zero, and I haven't used the thickly padded boots more than three or four times. Maybe if I stood still I would be cold. I don't know. This review is making a lot of references to walking, and it is true that being able to wear walking shoes is great, but this is my everyday boot, even when dressed up. They are very easy to step out of when you get to your destination, so when everyone else is struggling to change from boots to shoes, you just step out of the boots and you're ready to party. I can even wear a slight heel. If I have a complaint, it is that when I am in a hallway, it sounds like I am wearing paper bags on my feet. Sometimes I find that humorous, other times, not so funny.
