Works well under pressure Dec 11, 2007
By Desert Navigator We used this UTM plotter during a one-day adventure race with 15 controls. The extra-large hole at the corner of each scale made it very easy to plot the UTM coordinates on the map. We did all of our plotting at night with headlamps. We experienced no difficulty with the plotting, and all of our plotted points were right on. The small size of the plotter is very useful it that it is very easy to place on the map, then maneuver to the northing and easting values. We will continue to use this plotter for adventure races.

Adventure racers, you need this Oct 01, 2010
By Egyptienne It's little, it has every scale imaginable for the avid adventure racer, and it can be carried along with your passport and/or compass thanks to the compact size and convenient hole and lanyard punches. Trust me, you're going to want this in your pack.
After many, many uses in the rugged conditions that adventure racers put their gear through, you may find that the ink will smudge off. You'll have to put it through quite the beating for that result, and besides, at this price, you should have more than one on hand anyway.
Buy it. Attach it. Get extras. Learn to love your UTM. And always stay found.

Sturdy UTM tool Nov 01, 2009
By G. ASH
"A-OK"
This credit card size UTM tool is sturdy and fits easily into a pocket. It gives scales for 1:24,000, 1:25,000, 1:50,000, and 1:62,500. It has relatively large holes at the intersections, which I like.

By Dean Scott Jones I work as a volunteer in SAR. Needed an extra grid reader for our topos. This is perfect. Highly recommended.
