deadweight Dec 14, 2009
By A. howard These poles are great if you stroll over easy terrain and want to carry something for looks. The twist lock poles are garbage. Don't put your weight on them, as they collapse. In cold weather (20deg F) they become unadjustable. The cork handles and shock absorbers are nice, but that's it.

Great poles! Walked over a thousand miles on them. They never collapsed once! Feb 22, 2010
By Warren E. Nelson Don't know what the heck the other reviewer is talking about! I walked over a thousand miles with them (Nordic Walking), fast, slow, up steep hills, down steep hills, walked a complete Marathon and had ZERO problems with them. They are a great starter pole for Nordic walking.
Maybe if you're trekking the Himalayas you'd want something more expensive, but other than that, these are great poles!
Great product at this price point. Jan 16, 2011
By Casey These trekking poles are very lightweight and durable for their pricepoint. The twist lock works great, and the length will adjust for any height person. Spend the extra money to get poles with shock absorbers. Your wrists, elbows and shoulders will thank you.
