Keep pumping, pumping, pumping.... May 27, 2009
By KMH We got the Diego version of this ball and pumped it up until it seemed "firm" with our small bike pump. WOW - the other reviewers are right - the size of a basketball at best. I was all but in the car on the way to the store to return it when we looked at the box a little closer and says it's 16". OK, so we pulled out the regular air compressor and a ruler and kept on pumping, pumping, pumping until we got to 16" diameter and again WOW - it's the perfect size for our 5 yr. old! Don't underestimate just how much you have to blow this thing up and just how far that PVC will stretch. It would be so much nicer if the instructions listed what PSI to inflate this ball up to. It's a fun ball though once you pump it up right.

A doll would be too big for this ball Aug 10, 2008
By Dawn M. Rhoades My daughter was so disappointed when I got the thing fully inflated and realized that it was no bigger then a basketball. The manufacturer should be sued for false advertisement. Don't waste your money it now big enough for a child to use.

A Joke Jan 09, 2008
By Ann Price I was so dissapointed in this item. This was for a 5 year old girl. The ball itself is not much bigger than a basketball. She can not even sit on the ball to hop. This should be for a toddler if they could sit on the ball.

Fatal Flaw Sep 28, 2009
By Sherry Cornell My twin girls each received one of these for their 4th birthday from their grandmother. They love them! They were hopping all over the house having the best time. However, I had read previous reviews of this item and wondered if they were accurate. They were. My husband used a bicycle pump to inflate them so we had no problems there, but within a few hours one of the hoppers was significantly deflated. I didn't want to embarrass my mother-in-law, so I didn't mention it, but I am doing research now to find a more durable alternative. Summary: Great toy with one fatal flaw, air loss.

Disappointing toy Dec 31, 2008
By B. Miller We bought this for our toddler so it's just the right size; however, it does not stay inflated for very long. We have to add air to it every time she plays with it. She bounces for 5-10 minutes and then the ball has to be re-inflated.
