4RUNNERS - Don't blister or chafe - GLIDE!  Feb 13, 2010
As a marathon runner this stuff is a must-have. Anywhere you have skin on skin or clothing on skin contact is susceptible to chafing - typically areas under your underarms, upper inner thigh, inner bicep, etc. For me I can't go more than about 6 miles in loose running shorts before the fabric causes chafing on my thighs.

I don't use this when running in compression shorts or tights, of course.

Vaseline is a cheap fix but it stains and doesn't last very long. Aquaphor lasts a little longer. This stuff has a waxy component that makes it stick around. DON'T USE TOO MUCH! You don't need as much as you might think, if you use too much you will stain your clothes (looks like an oil stain) and it's not cheap.

I also use it in the appropriate places when I do long distance cycling. Also good for your feet and hands to prevent blisters.

Plus:
Lasts all day
Handy applicator
Less less than alternatives

Minus:
Pricey
Faint smell (not a bad smell, but noticable)
Some minor staining if you use too much

5It really works  Feb 04, 2010
It does exactly what it says. I ran 18 straight miles and never got any redness, swelling, or burning between my legs, as opposed to when I used to run without using an anti-chafing product. It made the run that much more comfortable.

5Body Glide from Amazon  Jan 07, 2010
My daughter has narrow feet and they blister easily. She swears by this product. My wife tried them and she likes it also.

Maybe I need to buy stock in this company (shades of Peter Lynch)

5Indispensable  Dec 19, 2009
BodyGlide is indispensable for any long run. I love it. Gone are the days where I suffer chafing and painful skin irritation after a long run. It's great for any part of the body. Highly recommended.

5Great item!  Dec 16, 2009
Used this product at Disney world every day I was there (10!!) and it worked great!!!
