| | Description | Save space and weight in your backpack by carrying the Big Agnes Clearview Air Pad during summer and ultralight journeys. The rectangular Clearview gives you 2.5 inches of cushiness yet rolls down smaller than a 12-inch sub sandwich. (Your sandwich likely weighs more than the Clearview, too.) Inflate this air pad and slip it into the back sleeve of your Big Agnes sleeping bag for a comfy night's sleep. | |

Lightest and most comfortable sleeping pad Oct 24, 2011
By G. Randall These pads are awesome. They pack up tiny and are two and half inches thick. I used to sleep on a thin foam pad and had trouble sleeping, but this pad is amazing. I've used it for a few back country weeks and haven't had any issues with punctures either.

Great Sleeping Pad Sep 07, 2011
By Atrox I used to use self-inflating pads for camping and backpacking, but, despite only weighting 130 lbs, was never comfortable on them. I have 2 Big Agnes pads now- this clearview one for backpacking and summer use and the insulated one for winter and car camping (it weights a little bit more than the clearview pad)- and I sleep so much better than I ever have before. These pads are so comfortable, especially for the very low weight. The 25 in wide version is a luxury and allows me to turn over in my sleep without falling off my pad and waking up. Highly recommend these!
AWESOME Jan 13, 2012
By Ed76 Super light weight and easy to inflate. Very comfortable and it seems very sturdy.
If your worried about how strong it is... don't be. It held my weight (270lb) with ease.

Deflated during first use Dec 09, 2010
By Ferg So, I bought this item prior to my last backpacking trip, and I thought I was getting a steal. The weight and pack size were excellent, and I was looking forward to using it while on the Eagle Rock Loop trail (Arkansas).
Unfortunately, my excitement was short lived. The first night on the trail I aired it up and placed it inside my tent while I worked on supper. When I returned to the tent to get some shuteye, I noticed that it had deflated a little. I assumed that this was due to it being new and the fabric needing to stretch a little. I promptly aired it back up and proceeded to sleeping. Not long into the night, I found myself on the ground. It had completely deflated.
I found out the next night, it took me only 3 minutes to inflate and 10 minutes for it to completely deflate. I assumed that it was a pinhole leak somewhere, but I was too frustrated to care. I spent the 3 nights sleeping on the cold hard ground of Arkansas.
The only positive I had for the product was the easy return and reimbursement. It might have just been a fluke with the one I had, but I would not recommend this product to anyone.
