princeton tec amp4 May 24, 2010

Nice bright flashlight with a very long burn time. The light seems to be built well, but it keeps turning off for no apparent reason, usually when I need it the most. Too bad it is so unreliable, because it would have been a great light.

Almost one star review Mar 19, 2010 I had problems with the flashlight as soon as it arrived. I wrote to the manufacturers, and they replaced a part. That didn't stop all the problems, since the flashlight was now shutting off suddenly.
I wrote again to them and they kindly sent a brand new flashlight and I haven't had any problems with it. So customer service saved the day.

Princeton Tec AMP flashlight Jan 18, 2010

This flashlight meets all my expectations, however, what I received was not what I ordered. It was advertised as an AMP 5.0 and what I received was an AMP 3.0, which I probably could have gotten somewhere else for around the same price. When I talked to the seller, I was told they don't even carry the AMP 5.0 and I could return the one I received. After considering this option, I decided to keep the AMP 3.0.

Strong and Long Flashight Nov 02, 2008

I am always on the look out for a strong and dependable flashlight. This one fills the bill. It has 65 lumens and will go for as long as 160 hours. If you use lithium batteries rather than regular batteries, I am pretty sure that it will go for a longer period of time. The batteries will definitely have a longer shelf life at the very least. The clip is just an added bonus. Considering the days we live in, you never know when this flashlight will really come in handy.
