By Vandal These shoes have worked out great for me. I use them to run on trails (foothills) and I can really tell a difference when going up and down steep hills. I also used this shoes for intense hiking for several hours straight and had no problems. My feet also do not slide around in them like some running shoes do. They are not as light as normal running shoes but if you need something with sticky grip and rock protection I would go for it!
