Comfy but didn't help me Sep 01, 2010 Bought these for my ever increasing plantar fasciitis problem, but they didn't work. They are indeed comfy, but lack arch support. Guess I could say they were better than nothing, but I was hoping for more.
Good product, but inconsistent Jul 24, 2010 The first time I bought these insoles, they fit and felt great. A couple of months later a bought a "fresh" pair, and when I tried them on, the arches of the new pair were a little bit more forward than my old ones, and it hurt when I jogged. I had to put back my stinky ones and bought some Dr. Scholl's, which I don't really like as much, but at least they don't hurt. Does anyone else have a suggested brand that they would recommend?
Eliminated My Plantar Fasciitis Jul 06, 2010 This product helped me get rid of the plantar fasciitis I suffered in my right heel. I developed plantar fasciitis in my right heel after starting a regular walking program of 45 minutes every day. I went to a podiatrist who started me on some achilles tendon exercises and who suggested I let him make me an orthotic insert for my shoes. When I discovered that this orthotic was going to cost about $700, I searched on Amazon for a less expensive shoe insole. I chose this Spenco Polysorb insole after reading some favorable Amazon reviews. After using it in my walking shoes for several weeks, my plantar fasciitis went away. Now, whenever I purchase a new pair of walking shoes, I change out its insoles with new Spenco Polysorb insoles and have not had any recurrence of the plantar fasciitis. I also discontinued the achilles tendon exercises as they were no longer needed.
Bad feet, not product's fault Jun 08, 2010 I have bad feet from diabetes. Often quite sore to walk on. These insoles helped some, more on one foot than the other, which is typical. The fit in my shoes was fine; they do take up some space, so if you have loose-fitting shoes to start with, these should fit fine. I give them a "good" overall ranking; if you have more normal feet, these should work very well, and they are a good price.
great soles Jun 02, 2010 works great, lots of support. only downside is the top layer fabric will wear away if you use them for sports. but not too big of a problem.
