as described Sep 22, 2009
By Therese St Cloud It's good putty, works as described and it's convenient to have the case for it. The only things I'd say to watch out for are that when they say "hard" they really mean it; other brands' "hard" putty was just about right for me, and I am not a rock climber. But this one is really hard; I should have gone down a level. It does soften a bit as you work it, though. The only other thing is that it leaves a dark greenish stain on your hands after you've been using it for awhile. Washes off easily, but if you're sitting at a desk messing with it, you'll need to wash your hands before greeting anyone!

I like it May 12, 2010

I agree with the previous 2 comments. In addition, I have found that there is a big gap in hardness between the middle 2 putties. They should have one grade in between these (saith my 10-year-old). I have found that this is my favorite hand strength tool and use it regularly. It offers more exercises than other tools and is more fun to use. Great for traveling, too, due to its small size and cool fist-shaped case. Well worth the purchase.

Great product, still use it. Feb 17, 2010

I bought this about a year ago I think, and I still use it today. It's one of the best hand exercises you can buy I think, not only can you use it to improve forearm and grip strength. It's also great to use to improve finger strength as well which adds to both forearm and grip really. I went ahead and bought the strongest putty, the dark green, when I first got it I immediately regretted buying it because it was super hard. After about 3 weeks though, it became pretty normal. Now after a year, its still a good hand workout and my grip has improved greatly. I would highly recommend this to anyone wanting to rehabilitate their hands or just improve their grips. Of course thats all relative to the person and their own health, just like any exercise you can do this too much and damage your hand. So be careful. The only downside to this is that it gets dirty pretty easy and it will turn your hand whatever color the putty is.

By weheller31 My daughter was told this would help her grip by strengthening her wrist hand and forearm. I found this and ordered it. The problem is I ordered green which is medium strength and recieved blue which is the strongest they have. She's a softball player, not a bodybuilder.
Best hand strengther in the market Apr 01, 2011
By FEK15 I think this product was inspired from the movie "The Mechanic"([...]) In the movie bronson has very strong hands; because he always exercises with a beeswax. When i watched the movie for about 15 years ago, i bought beeswax. However wax makes your hands sticky and you need to hold wax for about 10 minutes to warm and to soften it. Than i found power putty and i loved it.
Dark grren putty has almost the same firm level of a beeswax. And it doesnt make your hand sticky and it never spoils.
I also have nsd powerball and gripmaster. However this one is the best exerciser. It trains every muscle in your hand and it is also silent unlike gyro powerball.
A must have if you want to have powerful hands.
